Our school together with our guests forms Elementary school Zrnovnica, Split, solemnly mark access of the network of European peace promoting schools. Founders of that network - Rette progetto pace, are from Italy, province Venetto and their network is growing to all parts of the world. Elementary school Zrnovnica was first school in Croatia that joined European peace project, and we are the second.

Our two schools also joined combined project, and that is overcoming of antagonisms between fans of football clubs from Split (FC Hajduk) and Zagreb (FC Dinamo).

The first step we called: “Children from Split to children of Zagreb”. Guest from Italy, Deputy City Major of Zagreb, members from Agency of education , members of local Police station and members of electronic media – they all attend this ceremony. Headmasters from both schools – Mrs. Marija Situm from Split, and Mrs. Silvija Marusic from Zagreb – signed the Protocol of joining the Elementary school Voltino in European network of schools for peace and culture.
