Confronted with the rising business and envolvement of parents in work, allienated relationships between people and the shortage of the quality concepts, more and more pupils reach to the violent solving of the problems and confronting with each other or the teachers. They spend most of their free time exposed to the uncontrolled influence of the media. We can’t ignore the frequency of the dysfunctional families in which the supervision of growing up, education and upbringing isn’t conducted systematically. Led by boredom, they reach for various means of distractions- usually in the negative context.

That is why, in accordance with European and the world trends, in the frame of the curriculum for the year 2007/2008, we started conducting the project Stop the violence in the school or A safe school for everyone.

The goal of the project is to provide children with good conditions for growing up in the school, and enable harmonious life in the school surrounding.

The imperative is to enable children to feel safe, the rare presence of the cases of violence and the positive school atmosphere enables healthy growing up and the development of pupils.

The program led by the project team is carried out by the class masters from 4th to 7th grades. In the following period we will conduct the survey of the pupils and the teachers about the state of safety in the school, and in accordance with the results, we will start with the realization of the plan through numerous workshops.

The goal of the workshops is to promote positive values, foster qualitative interactions and improve communication, as well as to enable pupils to take part in the life and work of the school and find new ways of dealing with the stressful situations and non-violent solving of the conflicts.
